Night Orienteering
Night Orienteering (one and a half hours) develops:
- an self-awareness and provides an opportunity for self-growth.

- Making fires, braaiing stokbrood and bonding.
- Standing Watch: special time with oneself, fire and the beautiful African night skies and sounds.

Adventure Obstacle Course
Adventure Obstacle Course provides and opportunity:
- to develop problem solving skills.
- to create an awareness of the power of one’s mindset.
- for self-growth and building the self-image.
- to build the team spirit.
- to have lots of adventure and fun.
Raft/Structure Building
- facilitates self-growth and self-image.
- builds the team spirit.
- develop creative thinking, problem solving and decision-making skills.
- provides and opportunity to have adventure and fun.
Mud fight
Bring old clothes with (they will never look the same again) and have lots of fun!!
Swimming in rivers/reservoirs
The rivers are bilharzia free.
Bush Hunt
Bush Hunt (three hours) provides an opportunity:
- to apply knowledge and skills learnt whilst at Ubungani.
- for self-growth.
- to be very creative.
- to sharpen communications skills.
- to asses their ability to work in a team.
- to develop observation, thinking, interpretation, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Astronomy
Stargazing using star charts (30-40 minutes):
- Stars: (birth, light years, brightness, variable), planets, moon, meteors and meteorites, comets, nebulae are discussed
- Constellations are identified.
- Mythology around the constellations is shared.
Hiking
- In bushveld area.
- Climbing mountains.
- NB please bring something with to spray for ticks.
Game Drive
provides an adventurous opportunity for the:
- identification of the African wildlife.
- observing animal behaviour.
